We offer camps to children from all demographics with a focus on giving our camps to children in foster care, as they, like our horses, are put in their situation by no fault of their own. I am a Certified Facilitator in experiential life skills development where the horse is the teacher. These experiential courses build skills in teamwork, connection, compassion, and confidence.
We had our first camp of nine kids in July of 2019. It was phenomenal to see it come together and be so successful. The kids were ecstatic, learned a lot and we got some great testimonials, enforcing the fact that we are on the right track.
We have also partnered with Fostering Great Ideas and plan to raise awareness and funds together in the month of May – Foster Care Awareness month – to provide camps for children in foster care this summer.
We Offer:
- 6, 8 & 12 week Skills Development Programs
- Our new 5 week Family Herd Series
- Field trips & day camps for schools, churches and more
YOUTH SKILLS FOR LIFE
Prepare your children and young adults to take on the challenges that life throws at them. One of the many bonuses of working with horses is the component of interactivity because we all learn differently, but we can all take away lessons that we learn through our experiences.
