Daisy is the daughter of Bobbie, my beloved horse for over 14 years. Daisy was born in my arms at about 1am on December 8th, 2007 during an out-of-this-world experience watching the emotional birthing process with Bobbie. She was the cutest little foal I had ever seen! It was amazing to be there to help Bobbie with the birthing and for all my trepidation I was ecstatic to meet Daisy! At 3 days I put a halter on her and at 2 weeks she was ponying with Bobbie and I so we could start training for the endurance season.
We rode along the High line canal and Daisy loved to follow along! I did everything you could do with a foal to teach her manners and “sack” her out so that nothing scared her.

Bobbie is the matriarch of Daisy Chain, she is Daisy’s Mom and our Founder, Susan’s “heart horse”. Bobbie has been in several limited distance trail rides and loves to take long trail rides with Susan. She is 21 years old but you would never guess that by looking at her. She is a fast horse. She loves to be groomed and to meet new people but doesn’t care to have different people on her back. Bobbie does love her new job teaching and helping people through the obstacles in our ground work programs and is second only to Daisy as the best teacher!

Pickles came to Daisy Chain from the Colorado Horse Rescue Network in June of 2021. She is a great mascot and loves her new job helping kids learn how to communicate. She also comes with us to events and visits orphanages, nursing homes and hospitals to brighten up everyone’s day.
